- At last the residency date is approaching and I am working like a crazy person trying to get to grips with Tiltbrush! Sean Rodrigo (Continuum) shown above setting it up for me.
Spending hours every day in my Oculus Quest headset I have deep red indentations on my forehead and cheeks and look like I've been beaten around the face! Fun, frustrating and utterly consuming though. I'll post photos of me looking decidedly odd as I work -shortly.... Last night I had a meeting with Sebastian Kalwij who will be the guest speaker at one of the project events I've planned during the residency: Movement of Peoples : Risks & Benefits - Presentation exploring the health implications of all kinds of travel at Tate Exchange Liverpool - 18 July 3-5pm As well as being a mega busy GP, Sebastian also makes art and is a published author. Some of his work will be featured in the TEX space - delicate vials of sands which he collects from all over the world which evoke our shared and fragile ecology.
