Odyssey: Explorations - the final report!
Today I submitted my report to Arts Council England and this iteration of the project is concluded - what an amazing journey it has been! There may have been tech gliches, the odd change of plan and heart-stopping concern about missing deadlines but overall it just went brilliantly. Huge thanks to Arts Council England who awarded funds from the National lottery to the project. Many thanks to Tate Exchange Liverpool for being a great host venue and to other contributing venues - National Maritime Museum, Open Eye Gallery as well as FACT and Central Library who hosted collateral events. Thanks to the enthusiastic and helpful community partners: Liverpool Irish Centre, Pagoda Arts Centre and Sunnyhill Children's Centre in Lambeth. Thanks to my assistant Terri Broughton, all the participating artists: Shoran Jiang, Sebastian Kaalwij, Marie Mairs, Audrey Mullins, Jane Skead, Pamela Sullivan, Wendy Williams and Alan Stones (composer of the soundtrack. I must now finish the preps for my solo show (which will feature the digital artwork I made for Liverpool) and start planning for next year's Odyssey! https://www.odysseyexplorations.com http://www.fiongunn.org/
